Aromatherapy Diffusers

Fan Diffuser - (Fanfuser) – The fanfuser is an efficient, quiet and easy-to-use diffuser. A small fan blows air through a pad containing essential oils. The fanfuser uses no heat and is easy to operate. We recommend this unit for small spaces (500 sq feet). It's a quiet diffuser, and safe for public places (such as stores or nursing homes) where a nebulizing diffuser might not be appropriate because of the glass. The fanfuser can also be used with the thicker viscosity oils. Refill pads and timer also available.

Nebulizing Diffuser - These diffusers pump air through a glass chamber filled with essential oils. The nebulizing diffuser is preferred by many aromatherapists because of its effectiveness in diffusing essential oils and in maintaining their therapeutic properties. The nebulizing diffuser uses no heat, and converts the essential oil into microscopic size droplets which stay in the air for long periods of time. These droplets produce a fragrant aroma and are easily assimilated through the lungs and into the bloodstream. We offer several sizes of nebulizing diffusers, from the Optima (for large spaces) to the House and Tranquility (shown), down to the Mini. Nebulizing diffusers aren't the quietest, due to the action of the pump, but they're very effective. The quietest models we carry are the Aqua Clear and the Optima, although it is helpful to know that none of these units need to be run continually to receive therapeutic benefits. We recommend twenty to thirty minutes at a time, several times per day. We do NOT recommend this model for use with thick oils, or with any massage blends, as the glass can become clogged. Tea Candle Diffuser - We offer many choices, including lovely soapstone diffusers, gorgeous hand-made ceramic diffusers created by a woman-owned cooperative in California, unique ceramic diffusers and more. These candle diffusers come with instructions and a tea candle. To use, light the candle and simply fill the reservoir with water and a few drops of your favorite oil. These diffusers create a peaceful atmosphere, and make lovely gifts paired with a bottle of essential oil.

Lamp Ring Diffuser The light bulb ring diffuser is an easy and inexpensive way to use essential oils. Choose a favorite oil, place the ring on a low wattage bulb (for longer lasting aroma) and add the essential oil or essential oil blend of your choice. These make great little gifts for a co-worker or friend. They come in terracotta or white.

Car Diffuser -The car diffuser plugs right into the cigarette lighter of your car. Add a few drops of essential oil to the pad, plug in, and enjoy. These are perfect for long trips or commutes to work. We recommend an uplifting blend, however, and not something that might relax you too much! One of our favorites is peppermint, and a blend of citrus oils is nice, too.

Aromatherapy Inhaler - We have two types of aromatherapy inhalers to choose from – a basic plastic unit which comes in a four-pack, and a metal diffuser in a choice of three colors. Both fit easily inside a purse or pocket, and can be filled with the essential oil of your choice. These are great for stress relief, concentration, headache relief, etc.

Diffuser Pot -We have trouble keeping these adorable little pots in stock! Choose from terracotta, terracotta with ceramic glaze, or white with ceramic glaze (shown). These come with a ribbon, so you can either hang them or stand them up. To use, just add a few drops of essential oils to the glazed pot.

Special Purpose Diffuser - The Aromahaler has been FDA-approved as a medicinal delivery device. It delivers vapor from essential oils directly into the air inhaled through the nose. This way, the active component of the oil goes directly and immediately to the limbic nervous system, bypassing the digestive system and the liver. This small but efficient device - which fits comfortably under the nose - provides hours of vapor from less than 1/7 of a drop of Essential Oil!
